Purchased eight of these to anchor Christmas decorations on my lawn. They are much stronger than I need, but better too strong that the other way around. They are made of heavy gauge streel and are very strong. They would be excellent for their intended purpose, which is as an anchor for attaching to a dog lead. I would not hesitate to use them for my 125lb Alaskan Malamute..
