Bought these two because previously I had a dual gas spring monitor stand, which works great... it's just that I have 27" monitors and like to move my main monitor to be in front of my face so the second monitor gets hidden behind and I'm unable to move it with ease. With these two I can fully utilize my desk space and the USB ports under them really help clean up the cable management on my desk. Be careful while opening! I think if the spring opens too fast, it is so strong it can break itself and or if your hand gets caught!!
