      I didn't find that it worked for ME, but everyone's neck is different, of course! It is operated by squeezing the handles inward. I think I would have preferred it if the massage balls also had a rolling function, but they do not.

              Okay for price. Sponge pads are very firm and can cause pain if you don't use with caution.
