So far so good, I've glued it to a panel of 1/4" MDF and added a rectangular trim around it (3/4 x 1/2") so that my children don't draw on the wall directly. The MDF protects the wall from chalk hits and the trim protects from over-drawing to the wall.

The kids love it. They spend hours drawing on it. I stick it to the side of an Ikea cupboard, in the dinning room/kitchen. Now when I have visits (young cousins or kids' friends) they all like to draw on this. Very practical, awesome price and innovative product. Thank you!
