I would give this a 4.5 out of 5, but round up to 5 due to the price. I am back here to buy two more because my cats have shredded the first one. I have trouble finding posts that are large enough for my very large (20 lbs) male cat. Despite this being narrower than any of his other scratching posts, this one is his favourite and he has shredded the first one now. I am back to buy more. My smaller (<10 lbs) female cat also uses this one, but likes it no more than any of the others. I think a wider post may have been more durable, but this one lasted at least a year. He has torn apart other (more expensive) scratching posts in minutes.

My cat loves it. Good height for a full grown cat. Easy to put together / setup. She uses it every day.

The post is smaller- in circumference - than I thought but our cat is using it so it will do. The height is good and otherwise it is well made.
