ZigBee Smart In-Wall ON/OFF Switch (120VAC/10A) - LivingWise
garbage product, got blocked at the first step with livingwise app, can't create account, always say internet issue, timeout. total useless
Anybody know how to control it while liveWise server down? I could not login to LiveWise server through the app, giving me 500 error.
I am fairly convinced these do not work as mesh routers. Having a chain of these devices will not allow you to have a reliable connection any further from your hub. There are no tools to inspect the ZigBee network. So you either rely on faith it is working, or you observe it does not.
I removed this product after about 2 months use to move another smart switch into the gang box beside it. When I reconnected the (properly labeled) wires and turned the breaker on, smoke began to pour out of the unit and a strong burnt plastic smell filled the air. I promptly shut the breaker and removed the product. I will likely be removing ALL of the switches that are installed as this should not be a remote possibility and makes me question the validity of the UL listing that is stated on the box (but on on the unit itself)
Didn’t know that you have to have a hub to get this switches working
Bought 6 of those (3 dimmers and 3 on/off) because of discounts. No - I do not recommend it! No - It does not work with "Alexa" No - It does not work with Vera. No - It is not fully compatible with Zigbee. After half an hour of re-trying again and again - it finally paired with Echo Plus, but every now and then Echo Plus repeats that the device is malfunctioning... Even those couple times the dimmer worked with Echo - no dimmer actually - either 0 or 100%. If It switches on, then it does not switch off - and vice versa. Random errors. And all this at a distance of 1 m.
