I wanted to try bamboo cutting boards as I like be environmentally friendly. Well, when I got them I immediately noticed the small wooden hairs peeling off the board. No amount of washing was able to get rid of them. I could use sandpaper to try and grind them off but I shouldn't have to do that with a brand new product. Luckily I was refunded and even told to keep them so I really appreciate that but it doesn't change the fact that I have yet to ever use these in my kitchen.

I used these a few times and they have splinters coming out of it already, so you have to be careful.
