Looks like the product was previously used. Didn't work right out of the box. AA battery compartment is large and it looks like C batteries would fit. The positive and negative terminals looks like they were tampered with. Overall build quality is garbage.

*UPDATE* Customer support was very helpful in shipping me a replacement. Unfortunately the second unit is also defective. I purchased C batteries for this unit and they actually fit and work (AA batteries do not fit or work as stated in the product description). Once everything is assembled and you try to use the dispenser, it never works. The motor sounds like it's not strong enough to actually depress the pump (Using fresh batteries as well). I can honestly not recommend this product to anyone. A product like this should not require this much troubleshooting.
