27" Flat Gaming Monitor 4K UHD 60hz Ultra Slim Aluminum Bezel with FreeSync™ - PrimeCables®
I bought this monitor in 2019 and it was fine at first, but has since become unusable after 2 years of casual use due to a severe flickering issue that has also been reported by other users. This monitor was never subjected to shock, vibration, extreme temperature, moisture, heavy usage, or overclocking. Sample video: https://youtu.be/jIXaOHQVFIE
Got this June 2019 for ~$200 on sale. About 1.5 years in the monitor has started flickering really badly (which seems to be a common issue causing poor reviews for this monitor). I wouldn't buy this again.
I purchased this monitor ~1.75 years ago. Overall impressions were good. 4K was crisp, colours were good, viewing angles were acceptable. In the last couple of weeks though the screen has started flickering and, more annoyingly, there are horizontal lines across the screen. In some ways it's like going back to CRT interlaced video except for more flickering and headaches. Was originally thinking of buying a matching monitor for a dual monitor setup but will be looking elsewhere now. In general, I expect my monitors to last longer than my computers. This was a true disappointment TL:DR - started good (4-5 stars), lasted only 1.75 years before breaking down
As i couldn't edit my first review. It's March 2020 and the two monitors i bought from September 2018 and dying. One has lines all over the screen and the other dips in brightness and flashes from time to time. They didn't make it to two years. So please take this in consideration. As they only have one year warranty i'm pretty much out of 700$ for two monitors that last a year in a half.
Occasionally flickers to a green and blue glitchy screen pattern but usually goes away after an hour or so of use, not a true ips panel like it was described on the product page. Although there are some problems it is still usable.
Monitor goes black every dozen or so seconds on 4k.
