A surprisingly poor product. In fact, the first-of-its-kind that I have received after all these years from shoppers plus. The item is flimsy being made from thin metal that actually bends on tougher apples. The amount of space after going right through an apple is minimal oh, so that one is in danger of squashing one's fingers at the bottom of the stroke. This item could use many improvements.

By the 5th apple it no longer cut all the way through and I had to push it back the way I started and tear apart the sections. Annoying and time consuming.
