Clips are strong and the included double-sided adhesive is strong enough. Tip: don't cut open this package. The adhesive isn't preapplied, so if you cut open the package, you might accidentally cut that in pieces.

Hooks work wonderfully. The double adhesive strips that come with them is total crap. I ended up using bits of a 3M command strip, and this works wonder. Those little hooks work wonders for loose plugs, wires, charger cables and so forth. Definitely recommended, but you need extra decent double-sided adhesive strips - forget the cheap ones that are bundled with it.
