I have slowly been installing these LEDs as my old Halogen bulbs fail. Unfortunately 2 of the 4 bulbs I have installed failed in the first 12 months of use. My old halogen bulbs have lasted 7-8 years.

They're bright, and cheap, but they don't work reliably when connected through a brand new electronic dimmer switch, which is the application I bought them for. They sometimes flash uncontrollably when I turn on the switch, whereas other brands of LED bulbs work just fine with this dimmer.

These bulbs do not dim very well. They go from very dim to super bright really quickly. I tried adjusting my dimmer but it did not help much. Also, when the lights are dimmed very low, the lights flicker. These bulbs are OK if you don't plan on dimming your lights.
