These speakers are not value priced; although I was not expecting exceptional speakers for this price by any means, the quality of the speakers are lower then my low expectations.

The speakers are powered via USB, which is fine but I found the attached USB cord to be a bit short. Fine for hooking up to a laptop but if you are planning to use with your PC, you will need to consider where you will place your speakers in relation to your PC or have a powered USB extension. Sound quality is not so great but wasn't expecting much given the price point.

These speakers are ok for the (sale) price - figured I'd give them a chance for under $10. I have pretty high standards for audio, and they're definitely better than most built-in laptop speakers, but I'd certainly spend more to get something better if I had the choice.

This item is hit and miss. I bought a few and some are hissy and crackle. The others work great. Buy on special.
