I've decided to just go with original HP cartridges since I've had bad luck with generic re-manufactured cartridges. Shopper+ is the best place to get these because they tend to be a couple of bucks cheaper than elsewhere.

Fast delivery, was accepted by the printer as a genuine HP cartridge (which it was, of course), and worked flawlessly. More expensive than knock-off products, but the reliability and security are worth the extra price.
