This is in fact one piece, the mirror on the back of the brush. Maybe it says that in the description and I missed it. The children love the rainbow colours and doing each other's hair. I bought 2 so they could each have one. One uses it to brush the other's hair while the other child uses the mirror to watch, and then they switch, each keeping their own.
