Its a very nice product and seems quite strong and durable, and is as described –I've not gotten a chance to use it yet as its for Christmas, but I think that it will be great to paint on.

Great lightweight easel! A little challenging to set up the first time, but easy enough after that. Everything is adjustable, the height is great, and when it is folded up into its suitcase form it only weighs about 11 lbs. As a field easel, it is very manageable. It carries paints and brushes etc. in its drawer section. Really, this is a charming and useful artist's tool.

portable but a little pricy.

For the price, I think this is a really good easel! It is a little bit heavier than I would ideally like, but still travels well with room enough for everything I need for a day of painting.
