The chair is advertised " Super strong construction tested at 300-pound capacity" Actually not to exceed 250 on the lable for the chair.

bought about 10 of these for regular sitting in the backyard/garage. sat on about 2x a week. after almost 6-8months the arm supports have ripped through the metal bars. good for once in a while use. not for consistent usage.

The shorter version is better than extended version. Bigger is not better here as it is very flimsy and not stable.
