The foot pad itself is made of decent quality materials and operates as it is intended. However the notion that it is a "universal" foot pad is a little misleading. While it works "as is" for a few of my toys, in order to use it with some others, I needed to make an adapter for the "plug" and it doesn't work at all for a few toys that require a piezo sensor. Well made but not universal.
