It is definitely way too big for any standard closet. However, it seems to be the perfect size for garage or shed storage. Once assembled, it is quite sturdy despite each individual parts being very light. I wouldn't be fearful of storing heavy items in the bottom sections of the unit.

I ordered this hoping I could stack it as one tall set of shelves. It doesn't quite work for this application however I was successful at stacking four vertically and it serves the purpose for an affordable price. I REALLY had to study the directions to get the proper side pieces going in the right directions.

Came in handy for placing books in my bedroom

It was quite easy to build. Had some issues with connecting some pieces together as they didn't fit well but with some firm pressure and wiggling, it worked out in the end.

not as easy installation as I thought. But managed to install it finally and it works as expected. Not so nice looking to be put in the living room, but should be good to be used as a storage rack.
