It grips well to the ground and as some said and the tilting of the platform can be a bit too easy to happen, but it's just a matter of getting used to it. By now I actually consider it a feature. Dirt from your shoes can easily get trapped in between the ridges at the top, but being hard plastic, it's very easy to vacuum it, especially with a brush tip if you have one.

I am very satisfied with the office ergonomic footrest. It solved the problem I was having with leg cramps after sitting for long periods at the computer. This was achieved by a feature of the footrest allowing you to tilt it into various positions as you are sitting.

It wasn't exactly what I thought it was. I assumed it was a spring to apply pressure. It simply adjusts position. But, it is well constructed and works.
