Seems sturdy, black plastic, adjustable height. The top surface has lines on it that match the construction on the underside (since it's plastic) - this is unfortunate as it isn't a smooth black surface look. I like the "tray" on either side. Big enough to hold pens, stickies, etc.

Not bad very sold build. Had my 32 inch monitor and a lot of toy on it.would definitely recommend to anyone looking for monitor stand

This riser works well for me. It’s not the most elegant solution for adjustable height, but it works fine and helps bring my screen to an appropriate eye level
