I was really looking forward to using this tree skirt but it sheds glitter/sparkles like crazy! We only wanted a tree skirt for decorative purposes, but even if we had a real tree, I'd rather deal with cleaning up falling pine needles than the glitter explosion that this tree skirt would undoubtedly leave behind. When I first opened the package the tree skirt was shipped in, it was almost like opening a glitter bomb. The tree skirt went straight into the donation pile rather than under my tree :(
