I put this cable in wall for the tv's that are anchored to the wall. Being 8k I believe it will be future proof and I will not have to change the cable for another 20 years (hopefully) I give 3 stars because nowhere on the cable is written the specs of the cable. The specs are only on the bag, makes me wonder if this is just a standard 4K cable but in a 8K bag? Does anyone have any tools to check the accuracy of the statements being made by the seller?

The quality of this cable is good and doesn't add too much bulk. I bought four cables to ensure all my devices use higher bandwidth cables. The only device in my house that can take advantage of HDMI 2.1 is my PC. I hooked it up to my RTX 3070 Ti, and it outputs in 4K @ 120hz on my Hisense 65" U78G without problems, and VRR works. I knocked off two stars is because they misrepresented the "Ultra High Speed HDMI® Cable Certification Program" in the production description. The physical product and packaging do not indicate that it's an "Ultra Certified Cable," even though Primecables advertises this certification, there has no way of validating the authenticity. As a result, the production description is misleading. However, I didn't expect much because the price is reasonable and works. In summary, if you want peace of mind and have an authentic HDMI 2.1 cable where you can psychically validate it through the HDMI app, steer away. However, if you want a well-priced cable that works without issues, go for this product.

Well built cable. The HDMI 2.1 certification barcode is NOT included on the packaging; therefore I am taking 2 stars off as there is no way to verify (scan with HDMI Certification app) if this cable will work flawlessly for my future setup that requires 4K 120HZ.

Seems to be working ok, have yet to use it on a 2.1 HDMI device how ever.

Tested this cable on my Xbox Series X. It does not recognize this cable as capable of 120Hz with Dolby Vision. The cable it comes with can do this. This cable was purchased for 4K /120Hz on the new Apple TV when it comes out since they don't include HDMI in the box. Doubting that it will actually work now. Disappointing. My display is an LG B9 OLED and I know I have had it work properly with the bundled cable. This cable passes 4K/60 but so does HDMI 2.0.

Product works as intended. It's rated with 3 star because all three of my cables that I ordered fit loosely into the HDMI ports. My other cables fit snuggly into my Apple TV, TV, and Matrix Switch but these easily slip out with the easiest of pulls.
