These are great in that by thinking "out of the box", 1) you can buy multiple sets and stack them. By leaving out the bottom row rods, and one of the two rods on the second row (just use the rear rod), you can accommodate tall boots, that would otherwise not fit. Mine currently sports 11 rows, plus the boots on the floor. Just be sure to fasten it to the wall so that it won't fall over when going "to the ceiling" high. 2) By cutting the rods, can make them less wide for slightly tighter places. I made a three tier rack that sports only one pair of shoes. This is by the door, where space is tight. etc.
