Too heavy to adjust the height, I bought this for my daughter and it keeps sliding down so I always have to adjust it up and it's so heavy, not sure friendly, however it's a sturdy beautiful desk. It's also a bit big than what I pictured for my daughter but I guess I dont need to buy a bigger one for her when she is all grown up
