There have been a few complaints regarding the battery.The battery is supposed to be Li-ion or Lithium Ion but the short manual that comes with the multi-tool says to only charge the battery when it is totally discharged or maximum capacity would be affected....this suggests to me "memory effect" ....which Li-ion batteries do not have.....leading me to wonder whether it is...because some of the complaints seem to have the characteristics of NiCad batteries.

For the price the product worked fine when I worked on removing grout and grinding around the floor drain in the laundry & washroom. The battery operated very well for more than an hour by the time the job was done. However, my problem is the need for another set of accessories as the one supplied have worn out! Will have to check at Home Depot if the Milwaukee M18 accessories fit as they too have a universal clamp for changing blades. The unit was brand new at the time of use but not certain if the life of the battery takes a beating over time after having read practically all the reviews.

For the price it does the job

Battery comes in discharged completely state have to charge before use

The included blades are not strong enough, it went dull only after a few uses. Not powerful enough when trying with harder materials
