First of all, it's important to note that I purchased this light stand during a sale - I got it half price. I'm not sure i would pay full price for it, as IT IS a cheap light stand. However, for the price, it is an incredible value! Depending on your use case, these babies may be just what you need. I mostly do corporate and e-learning content, so these are perfect for small LED panels, They are light, sturdy enough and pack small. You need to be gentle and careful when opening and closing them, but if you treat them well, you get nice light stands for super cheap!

For the price, these are incredible. Should have picked another two! Got this at half-price, and while they won't hold a 2K tungsten light, they do wonders with little battery-driven LED panels. The stand is light, folds well and extends smoothly. Given its price and weight, it is quite sturdy. Treat it gently, it will work well. Not meant to be used in the heart of the Amazon or in the Arctic, but in a corporate or academic setting, these rule!
