This cable cannot be plugged into a Macbook Air on the Type-C side. You have to press unnervingly hard to get it to even detect in the Macbook Air and if you do, it will fall out because it doesn't click into place. I have to use a USB-C hub connected to the Macbook and then plug the cable into hub to get it to sit nicely. It plugs in fine on another device like the Samsung Galaxy S10, but that's not the point of this cable. Why wouldn't you test fit a cable that's Apple Certified?

The lightning end of this cable is fine, but the USB-C end does not plug in easily to my MBP. It seems like it does not go in far enough and requires me to push it too hard in order for phone to start charging. There is no *click* as it is inserted like other USB-C cables

Didn't even last one year . The usb c end has that goes into the charger is so annoying. Breath wrong and it'll move slightly and stop charging the device. I kept the cord straight with no kinks so not sure why it stopped working.
