I bought this on a Brother QL-700 label printer.because the official Brother labels are 4 times the price!!! When I received it today, I did tests by printing a larger test label with smaller font size to see how crisp the text would be. What I found was, that the paper on these labels are a bit brighter white than what I had in the machine. However, the label roll in the printer is about 2 years old. So it may have yellowed. The text on the real Brother labels are very dark and clear. The text on this knock-off paper is crisp, but just slightly not as black. They are slightly grayish. It's not bad though and certainly not a deal breaker. I still do recommend this label roll.
