The ad shows that the chip can be just removed with a tweezer. This is not true. We tried to pry off the original chip and carefully cut it only to have it break off. The cartridge with no chip is impossible to use.

The printer is not accepting the toner because of no chip as I didn't know about before ordered.

DONT BUY! Purchased for printer after consulting their support to see if it would be compatible. It ended up jamming in the printer and rendering it completely useless. We've brought the printer to a specialist to see if it can be fixed with not luck. Our 1 month old $400 printer is now garbage and we aren't even able to remove the cartridge for a refund. We have reached out to customer service and they say they are not resposible for the printer that was broken by their toner cartridge...
