As the word "mini" is in the description of this item, I expected a smaller unit - something along the lines of a correction tape dispenser. I was absolutely delighted it was large enough to fit comfortably in my hand and that it holds a standard roll of tape. It also comes with a full roll of tape, which is a bonus. It's easy to load and even easier to use. The cutting action is clean and precise, and it has a hinged "lid" of sorts the cover the tape when not is use, which is useful for keeping it from sticking to anything when storing, or having dust/debris affix itself to the exposed tape. I use this dispenser for sealing envelopes, putting up signs and posters, and repairing book pages in the library I work in as it really does easily and precisely dispense without lumps and bubbles that can occur when trying to put down a long piece of tape smoothly.

It's a bit "tricky" to get it started. In my case a small spring "flew"off when I was threading the tape but otherwise it is useful. This item is kind of like a "cadillac" version, as there are less expensive tape dispensers that are available.

Works ok

This has got to be the craziest item to set up! Throw away the instructions as they are useless! The trick to setting it up is to thread the tape under and towards the small wheel with the 3 black elastic bands. Once the tape is in place, start clicking the plastic housing to engage the tape to its proper length. It works well once it is set up. Happy wrapping!
