I needed to organize papers/move the mess off my desk and wanted a letter tray. Most of the ones I found were insanely overpriced for what they are, and had poor reviews about being flimsy and not stacking well. I chose these and I am not disappointed. They stack properly (3 levels), and they hold papers properly without bending. I wouldn't drop a 3-in book on them, but they can surely handle several notebooks.
