The clock itself is fine. The "X" in Six cracked when I pushed it in the wall. But it's NOT silent. For someone sensitive to noise or live in a quiet environment, the consent tick tick tick tick will drive you nuts. It's quieter than the really loud movements, but you can definitely hear the ticks. Don't put this too close to where you'll be sitting all day.
