Not silent movement. That's the only reason i bought them because i wanted it in my room. When the room is quite you can hear the clock ticking. It should be good for the living room.

I didn't open it yet. Seems like I just bought it without thinking where I will set it up. So far I don't see any place for it on my home walls. Anyway I can return it?
