I got this rack to sit in the existing network equipment shelving unit. My constraints were that it would be tall enough to accommodate 2U for router & switch, while not being too deep or too tall. I also needed room above and below to pass wires, and ideally a hole in behind to thread the cables. This checks all the boxes. As it was adjustable, I could set it to just the right depth. As others have reported, it's a nice quality steel, quite thick. Easy to put together when you're equipped and mildly experienced.

This is a very nice equipment rack. The finish is nice, and it’s sturdy. Love the adjustable depth design. It didn’t come with assembly instructions, but it’s pretty simple. One of the sides where you mount the equipment is hinged, not sure I like that, don’t really see the point. The only complaint I have is the cage nuts and screws, they are bright plated instead of black, and require a tamper proof torx driver, which it does come with but if you lose it, not everyone has those.

This rack did not come with instructions on putting it together. It was easy to assemble though. Solid product.

Does what it needs to do. No complaints.

This is definitely my go to wall rack. Very well built and great packaging for shipping. I have purchased several 4,5 & 7u units and have not been disappointed.
