The first one was defective. Replacement is OK.

I bought the kettle a year ago. It is works relatively well but takes a minute or two more than the previous one mainly due to the lid. The lid is not closing well as there is always a gap of about 1/2 cm. Sometimes I had to press and hold down the lid to shut off.

It's a kettle. It boils water well, but the quality is certainly less than stellar. The blue lights are a nice touch.

Nice kettle. The only thing is you have to keep your see on it as it does not always shut off automatically.
