Normally I would insert a piece of copper pipe into the valve and then solder it to the valve however the opening for the hot, cold, top and bottom sprouts (water supply ) were too small so I had to go out and buy the copper screw on connectors so as to hook up the water supply, apart from that the unit is well made and looks amazing
