Bluetooth 5.0 True Wireless Stereo Earbuds with 2600mAh Power Bank Charging Case - PrimeCables®
lacks bass overall good
These worked well at first and I liked having a backup portage charger for my phone. However, within less than a year of using these I've ran into problems. While jogging the motion will cause the audio will intermittently pop out for a second or two. Also for some unknown reason the left earbud is half as loud as the right. And, the cord has begun to come apart at one end.
Comprehensive review…. For the price point the sound is pretty impressive except when it comes to (Teams/Zoom) calls. Even at 100% volume, people on the call are not very loud and they noted that I sounded distant or faint; this is with my video feed turned off (I haven’t tried the earbuds for cellphone calls). Because of this call volume problem, I default to my wired Sennheiser earbuds and use the PrimeCables earbuds for watching TV/Netflix and listening to music. For this purpose, the sound is actually pretty amazing for the price. But that’s IF you can get them to fit properly - I’ve always struggled to get earbuds in general to fit my ears despite various silicone tips. The volume is much louder for general media listening (compared to the aforementioned VOIP calls) and is somewhat on the bass side - after reading some of the other reviews, I must have lucked out since they commented with weak bass. Singer’s vocals are clear as with other instrumentals. They also block out external noises fairly well. The sound these earbuds produce overall is full and rounded, not tinny and thin. Please note that I’m by no means an audiophile but I do have some musical background, and since we are talking about $50 range wireless earbuds, expectations should be reasonable. I have these paired to my Apple TV box and iPhone 8 with very few issues. On occasion the sound seems to almost fade out in one bud but then comes back so perhaps a temporary lost connection/pairing. I’m clumsy when it comes to touch controls on small devices and my long hair gets in the way. So far, best I can do consistently is start/stop audio or video playback. The buds don’t seem to sit snug into the charging case. I have to jiggle them a bit for them to make contact with the charging pins. Because they don’t seat well, I can’t trust that if I move the case around that the earbuds will charge. It has happened that it’ll suddenly say “battery power low” even though I only had them out for maybe 20 minutes. When they do charge properly, I get about 4-hours of listening time. I’ve had these for 6 months now and got them on sale. If these seated properly into their charging case, I would have given this a 4-star rating but that issue combined with my experience on VOIP calls, I’m giving this a 3. If you need a set of earbuds for general media listening, then these are a great deal - whether on sale or not. Just don’t expect much when it comes to call volume.
Bought 2 sets and the review reflects both (mostly). Mediocre microphone performance for phone calls. Decent sound for music. When watching higher quality video from a phone/tablet/laptop, the audio gets choppy consistently. The various silicone tips they come with make them easy to adjust to various ear shapes. Fairly comfortable and they stay in place. Charge for both the ear buds and the case last a really long time. The charging lights on one of the cases stopped working, so there's no way of knowing how much charge is left, but it does still hold a charge. I'm glad I bought them heavily discounted so I'm not too broken up about them not working out. If I had paid full price, I'd be really disappointed.
Having trouble connecting to my phone. Controls of sound power ect.. not easy. Explanation on instructions not clear. So not sure how they really work or sound.
It's Okay for the price!
