the old model was great. this model has gone high tech.it has the 3 size settings (300, 600, & 900ml). it counts up the ml as it dispenses the water, and you can stop it at the right amount when mixing drinks/shakes or cooking. it seems fairly accurate and eliminates the need to measure the amount of water first. another plus is because it doesn't have the spout like the previous model, people cannot stick the spout into their bottle (more hygienic). also, new people will need to check where the water comes out. the sound changes after about 400ml, but seems okay for now
