First cartridge worked okay. It did not give me the warning to replace the cartridge, it just stopped working. I tried the 2nd cartridge as well as the 3rd. They did not work at all. See Picture 1 & 2 of the print out from alignment. See what Picture 1 is supposed to look like in Picture 5 (true Canon product). I wasted a lot of colour ink when the printer heads were aligned. No black came out. I did not attempt to try the 4th cartridge - wasting my time as well as the frustration. So I paid $76.99 in essence for one cartridge (since the others didn't worked. I believe that what I received are defective. Based on return policy, I would have to pay for the return and my not get much of a refund.I bought a true Canon black ink and it worked immediately. So disappointed, don't waste your money.

First one worked great - when I went to replace it (I watched a few videos) it printed as if it was running out of ink - so I replaced it with cartridge number 3 and it still had the same issue -I am going back to brand name. In the meantime I got black ink all over my fingers ugh.

Do not buy this item. The ink and idea is great. A reusable print head where the ink is swapped. Where it falls apart is when there is an issue with the print head, it leaves you stuck with 3 cartridges of unusable ink. Not even the product support recommends using this product, as I was told to purchase the $34.99 single cartridge in the future instead of sending me just a replacement print head. A refund is not an acceptible solution when the alternative is more expensive.

I thought this product would last me a long time, since I only print a few pages per month. It claims to print 240 pages/cartridge. I am lucky if I got 20/cartridge. I would not recommend or purchase this product again.
