I am sure these would be great on chair armrests but I bought them for a different purpose. The cushioning on the handles of my rollator were badly worn and now my hands are happy. Once I figured out how to best install them, they worked well for this purpose. I am pleased with this purchase and the excellent service I always receive from this company.
