    This is the third shoe rack that I have purchase. The first two stored the shoes at an angle which meant that you had to place a "push-pin" into the sole of the shoe to prevent the shoe from slipping off of the "tier". That was a complete nuisance because the pins didn't always stay attached to the sole. This unit has level tiers, hence no problem.

      I didn't think it would be sturdy enough but it's great. A little weird to put together but no issues.
