Bought these to go with a compost bin I bought for my sister for Mother’s Day. Comes with sooo many bags that I know my sister will be set for a good year or so. While putting a bag in the bin I found if I was too forceful the bags would rip so definitely treat them delicately and don’t try to whip them open like normal garbage bags. They don’t leak and they don’t rip when holding a bunch of food. Great!

These are excellent! More than just a compost bucket bag: The product is thicker and sturdier than other name brands from the supermarket or big box store. I found the commercial brands split easily and these are at a far, far better price. I also use these when I shop for veg and fruit so that I don't have to use the store's plastic bags. I have net bags but, if I use these bags, I no longer have to worry about laundering the net bags. I had a bit of a panic when I thought that Living Basics has discontinued this product.

Stronger than some others.

Very similar to some other compost bags I have purchased but these are better quality. These are a much better price and we use them for kitchen trash in a small bin and for compostable materials for the compost pick up. Even though we also use them for some trash at least the bags will deteriorate much faster than regular plastic bags.
