The tape does glow for a while. Even after a few hours can still see it faintly. The green tape is better than the orange for showing up in the dark. I used it on my seniors's canes, door edges, table edges in the garage and my work chair to find those things in the dark. This is the second roll I have bought.

Nice colour, but more orange when the lights are on. Still glowing strong after months. It matches the item picture (orange than yellow), so it glows lighter than the orange tape but not very different at a distance. Great adhesion. We used it on the floor in a fairly high traffic area, and haven't had to replace any of the pieces.
