Ordered it for my friend's company to replace the OEM 58A came with the printer. Not sure if the chip is interchangeable between 58A and 58X so bought this one with chip instead of the one without chip for 1/3 of the price. Printer webpage shows Non-HP Cartridge Installed and Approximate Pages Remaining *> 8000 †. The OEM 58A yielded more than 4000 pages so hopefully this one can at least yield 10,000 pages. The print quality is as good as the OEM one, according to my friend. Will buy the one without chip and install the chip from this one next time to save a lot of money.

Works beautifully despite the warning from the printer when I installed it that it was not an OEM toner cartridge. Also previously bought a no chip model and it was great. I decided to buy a chip model so that I would always have a spare ready to use. Now with 2 chips, I probably will just buy Moustache "No Chip" models and move the chip to a new cartridge when an old one is empty. Far cheaper than OEM.

This cartridge, while it has the same part numbers that we asked for, has a different type of gate over the drum, that isn't present in the one that we're replacing. As a result, this cartridge DOES NOT WORK
