Works well holding up a projector, the would like to give it a perfect rating but the issue sometimes is the ball adjusting point can sometime be weak and may tip over.

Couldn't find a spot to clamp it near my bedside but it works great on my desk

Unfortunately, it's slightly too big for my 7" tablet. Can only hold it portrait (but my tablet buttons are all on that side, have to find another way to hold it safely). Other than that it's pretty good deal and the goose-neck is pretty strong and do come with a metal clip base.

These are good and they hold the well but the end cap comes off during the installation
