Item did not work as stated. I ordered it because I wanted to connect my hdmi laptop port to my usb c docking station and waited with all enthusiasm for its arrival, only to be dissapointed. Now I have to go order the docking station's manufacturer oem adaptor while this one lies here unused.

Could not get it to work from either a Samsung or an LG phone to an LG tv or a Samsung smart tv.

When using this adaptor, there is a noticable lag and response time outputted to my monitor. Typing and using a mouse is very frustrating. It was completely lag free when I tried a direct HDMI connection from my laptop to my monitor. Contacted support but they said it was my computer graphics card's fault, which is hard to believe since its an Nvidia Quadro chipset.
