i love this thing. i was using a crappy one off amazon that only elevated my laptop a few inches, so i had to stack this on a bunch of large hardcover books. it’s really solid as a laptop stand. i use an external keyboard so this is perfect for my desk work. i wouldn’t type directly on it long term as it may not be the most stable to support body weight leaning on it.

My daughter just loves this & uses it for various things - computer, keyboard, elevated stand for drawing/painting on.
