These will be good for a hard floor, but I've been using these on carpeted floor and they're really bad that they don't move. I need to lift myself up, move the chair with some force and sit back down. Similar issue with smaller wheels I bought on Amazon which I returned because they were worse than these, so that's the only positive I had about these that these are tiny bit better than those Amazon wheels.

Wanted to wait until at least a month before reviewing these casters. Initial thoughts were they are fantastic. Does not scratch hardwood floors. Sound great? There's just one caveat, if you move while either 1 or both locks are in place it does leave scratch on the floor. Also just about a month in one of the casters with the lock will be but stuck while trying to move around. My guess is it's the design of the locking mechanism. Everything else is good, the had initially flowed flawlessly, but I'd possibly stay with casters that have a lock.

Probably work al ot better on hard wood, but with a laminate mat or on carpet it sometimes difficult to roll-around. also the stopper (locks) are pretty sharp so if you like resting your bare feet on the legs it can be a little uncomfortable. That said it is pretty good quality overall.

They are okay and should work as described. My biggest concern will be there longevity as 4 of 5 of the wheel bearings are either loose on the shafts or the bearings are loose, so I suspect they may wear prematurely. This looseness also adds noise to the movement, if they were made tighter on the shafts they would be silent. If they were all like the one good one this would be a 5 leaf product so maybe other will get lucky and get 5 good ones.

Bought the brake style and none brake style. Compared with none brake style, I found the brake style wheels has a lot of turning/rolling resistance even without applying the brake, not a very smooth rolling experience
