I think it will work just fine. Seems like it could last a few seasons with care. The inner package was a vacuum sealed bag, keeping it compact for transport. I was impressed that it did not have any strong chemical smells like many plastic items have. Won't be using it until next spring so didn't want to unwrap it all so hopefully no major manufacturing defects.
